Prof. Yike Guo

CEO and Founder

Prof. Yike Guo founded InforSense in November 1999 to commercialize his group’s pioneering Open Discovery Workflow technology for high-performance large-scale integrative data analysis, rapid application building and process knowledge management. He has led the company’s growth since then. He is a world leading expert in large scale data mining and Grid computing and also serves as Technical Director of the Parallel Computing Center and Head of the Data Mining Group at Imperial College. Over the last four years he has led a number of significant academic and industrial research and development projects targeted at building next generation e-Science platforms for which he has gained UK and European funding in excess of £10million. He holds a PhD in Computing Science from Imperial College.

Stephen Allott

Executive Chairman

As founder and executive chairman of Trinamo Ltd., a London-based management consulting firm for technology companies, Stephen Allott brings considerable leadership and industry experience to InforSense.  He is also the founder and governing council member of the Cambridge Computer Lab Ring, a not-for-profit independent members' association for graduates of the Cambridge University Computer Laboratory, whose graduates have founded more than 140 companies. He also serves as a City Fellow of Hughes Hall, Cambridge University.

From 2001 to 2004, Stephen was a full time Visitor at the Cambridge University Computer Laboratory. From 1995 to 2001 he worked at Micromuse, a London-based software company where he was president, CFO and a main board director. During this time, Micromuse grew from £1m to £140m in turnover, and from 50 to 800 people. Allott joined Micromuse from McKinsey, where he served as a strategy consultant, and has also worked at Sun Microsystems and Rank Xerox. He is a graduate of Trinity College, Cambridge University.

David Bennett

Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales

As Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales, David Bennett brings more than 20 years’ industry experience to InforSense. David leads a growing international team chartered with increasing InforSense’s global presence and customer focus. During a varied international career, embracing both start-up and  mature software businesses, David ran SeeBeyond’s Europe Middle East and Africa business for 6 years . Previously he spent six years with Documentum Inc., where he held a number of both European and Worldwide Sales and General Management positions.  From 1981 until 1994, Mr. Bennett held a variety of Sales and Marketing positions at Ingres, The ASK Group, Wang Laboratories and Unilever.  Mr. Bennett holds an Honours degree in Business Studies and a Diploma of the Institute of Marketing having attended Cheltenham College and the University of West of England. He is an enthusiastic rugby follower and coach. David also enjoys skiing, photography, arts and music.

Joseph F. Donahue

SVP Sales, Informatics

Joseph Donahue joined InforSense in 2005 from LION bioscience AG, where he most recently served as co-CEO, improving the overall business operations and customer focus of the company. Prior to joining LION he served as Vice President of Global Life Sciences and Chemicals Markets for Spotfire where he was responsible for the direction and leadership of the sales and marketing strategy in the life sciences and chemicals vertical markets across global scientific supply chains. Previously he was Vice President of North American Sales at MDL Information Systems.

Gary Kong

Head of Engineering

Gary Kong joined InforSense in April 2004, where he started as a system engineer, gradually moving onto technical management of key customer collaborations and managing the core InforSense system development. Gary was appointed Head of Engineering in May 2007, in which he is responsible for overseeing the development of the core InforSense product, the quality control and assurance for the entire InforSense product suite, as well as customer care. Before joining InforSense, he worked at the London e-Science Centre specialising in collaborative visualisation in Grid environments, and holds a double Masters on interactive multimedia and computer science as well as a diploma of architecture.

David Menninger

VP Global Marketing and Product Management

With over twenty years of software industry experience, he is responsible for defining the company's products and communicating the benefits of those products to the market.  In his previous roles, he helped define the OLAP market leading to Oracle's $100 million acquisition of the Express product line from IRI Software, and, as VP of Marketing for Oracle's OLAP Product Division, tripled the revenues over a three year period.  Most recently as VP of Marketing for Applix he helped define another market segment, the Business Performance Management market, leading to a doubling of revenues and more than a ten-fold increase in the company valuation.

Martin J. Naughalty

Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer, Martin has world-wide responsibility for finance, tax, treasury, investor relations, human resources, administration, legal and information systems at InforSense.

Martin joined InforSense in February 2008 and brings more than twenty years of achievement in international high technology companies. Prior to joining InforSense Martin had held senior management positions across continental Europe and in the UK, including VP Finance EMEA for McAfee; VP of Finance and Business Operations for Fujitsu Technology Solutions International; the first head of European Finance for BEA Systems and various European management positions at Sun Microsystems, SD-Scicon and I.T.T.

Martin holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Exeter University and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. He is a divemaster with PADI and enjoys skiing, golf and music.

Dr. Jonathan Sheldon

Chief Scientific Officer

Jonathan Sheldon is responsible for directing InforSense R&D activities including managing InforSense product development and delivery to meet customer needs. Prior to InforSense he was Chief Technology Officer for Confirmant where he was responsible for developing the company's proteomics products and services. Previously he established the first bioinformatics group and was Head of Bioinformatics for 5 years at Roche Welwyn, UK participating in a number of global initiatives within the company. Dr. Sheldon holds a PhD in Molecular Biology/Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge.
