NorDx Accelerates Clinical Report Generation

InforSense implemented a new data mart at NorDX to merge data from multiple data sources using the powerful ETL capabilities of the InforSense platform. Automated workflows update the data mart and generate reports from the original sources on a scheduled basis.

The interactive report shown allows the querying of over 1million test results across 35,000 patients to be accessed by non-technical personnel.

Making Medicine Personal

This video shows a simple Translational Research example where we connect research together using clinical, genetic and pathway data. Starting with Clinical study data maintained in ClinicalSense 5.0 we look for genome wide associations of a selected cohort who have Parkinson’s Diseases. When identified in a plot, these statistically disease associated SNPs can then be interactively annotated with genomic data to then generate a pathway with Ingenuity’s Pathway Analysis software. This demonstration shows the power of adding context to disparate data sets. Using methods like this, patient care can be improved by characterizing their genetic and molecular makeup to improve treatment of their disease.

Portfolio and Project Reporting: A Drug Discovery example

The demonstration starts with a Tree Map showing the overview of all projects running at a global pharmaceutical company. The user can select those projects from a region that they are interested in and simply drill down to more data within a table. The system allows further drill down to see, in this example a lead identification project report which summarizes the chemical properties of 1000 compounds undergoing testing. Further plots and histograms help the user identify specific compounds with a low risk of failure for different properties, around safety, toxicology and pharmacokinetics.

Finding the Needle in a Haystack: Process-driven Analysis and Reporting with InforSense 5.0

This video is relevant to anyone with huge data sets thinking "I know there is value in here but how to find it?" It shows how InforSense 5.0 can guide the user through a process of analysis which leads to true discovery, in this case genetic information that can lead to the cure for a killer disease.

The user performs the analysis in GenSense 5.0, in the VisualSense 5.0 platform from InforSense. He easily removes data that he does not want to include in his analysis; performs what-if tests on the data to fine-tune it further; spots the results thanks to innovative chart types; and finally, outputs the result as a PDF which he can share with co-workers.
